Agrarian Southern Populism

i grew up in a family of agrarian southern populism. My grandfathers had been here already three generations. When he went out and started saying, our farmers, our soldiers, our workers will be forgotten it was a very profound influence on him. And while i have contempt for the modern progressive movement, there was something in the populism that appealed to me as well.
