When I was teaching WordPress, what eight years ago, we were all using mostly just using flywheel. And those things are mostly in the past because Windows dev has gotten a lot. It gives you an editorial experience and it gives you an experience that you may already be familiar with regardless of whether you used it before on a different project or even on a different employer. Also, there is just this huge ecosystem of plugins and extensions that built on top of it.
