Poling Is Less Trustworthy Now Than It Was in Decades

i think it strikes the extent to which popularism is trying to defeat an incipient kind of lefty uprising versus a, ah, you know, sort of stay ahead of the curve. The idea that the residence of those cities should not be allowed to dismantle these institutions because it would be bad d for comela harris's presidential election in 20 24 is offensive to me. It's better when residents of places like filly or baltimore or minneapolis or portland actually get to have democratic control over their own cities.
