Grace Zelfand: I was one of those folks in law school who did not apply for clerkship. In my head too, all judges were kind of old men who wrote laws,. very boring, very dry and I was an aspiring civil rights lawyer. So that didn't make much sense to me. She's a senior staff attorney at the ACLU of Northern California; she clerked Consuelo B. Marshall in the central district of California and Claire Williams in the seventh circuit court of appeals. "I love my job currently but I still reflect on clerking," Grace says.
