The popular conception of heaven in our culture is really at the heart and essence of dualism. Being in heaven isn't being somewhere else, it's being here. Life with no future or past, just life as it is in the moment before and beyond the suffering of time. In heaven, there is no yesterday or tomorrow. There is only now. Undivided by fear or shame, fully loved, fully experienced.
