What's a Ring?

A ring is just like a disk of material in a single orbit moving all around. You can't do Mario Kart on the rings of Saturn and you would fall right through. Cartoons play it real fast and loose with physics, I'm discovering. There's no minimum mass requirement for the rings as far as I can tell. So we're one step closer to Halo.
