The Future of Developer Programming Models

James Dealing: We're looking for companies that take the most complicated ideas and make them more simple. He says there are some early projects in the space, like Vulcan VLCN which has added CRDTs to SQLite. But it's still very early days for this multi writer problem. And so we also think about what class of applications would really need a sophisticated multi writer system. For most applications, you can sort of get away with the status quo. So I think it's really for real time gaming type applications on the edge where it might be very, very important.
