The Importance of Individualization in Hydration
The ratio of salt with fluid that you take in is what matters for you as an individual. Some athletes probably require little or no salt supplementation, and everyone else exists on a continuum between those two points. As an individual, your needs are fairly unique to you. You need to figure out what those are and then pursue a strategy that works for you.
