I Think the Idea of an Elected Head of State Depends on the Notion That the Public Respect the People They're Electing
The only minny bit of controversy there's really been in the last week rit has been the stuff about the pens and about charles losing his rag a little bit. I think ou' rigt mil he will get a lot of slack for a long time. But i think the thing is about being head of state, you have to be stately all the time. And you've got the comparison with his mother, who always was so i just think it's fine. It does give us a rallying point around which people can broadly unite,. whereas politics in america, particularly, and to a slightly lesser extent here, divides.
