Is This a Real Light Bulb?

The bulb was found outside a hardware store in Livermore, California. Owner Jack Gasnik wanted it acknowledged to be older than all of the other light bulbs. He wrote to Dear Abby and Guinness World Records asking for help. "It does not show any sign of carbonization," he says. 'I strongly disagree'
