I think yeah and I think it explores those ideas it does explore all those ideas in an interesting way there's bits where towards the end like Shaw talks about deserving to know like why they were created or and then like and then why they want to destroy us. It even made me think of Terence Malick in his voyage of time documentary he also questions like why the need for death and violence in order for life to continue. Prometheus carries that arm that pretty much does the same because you have the whole build premise of alien is that you have at once this kind of forceful impregnation through the face huggers and then a violent birth with the chest bursters.
