Longer Water Fast or Dry Fast?

Longer water fast had a more profound effect, at least in what I felt, then shorter fast. There's a time and a place for intermittent fasting as well. But from a strictly aging side of things, would it make sense that a longer water fast or dry fast would be more effective at specifically targeting those types of cells? And again, we know that the body can go a very long time without eating.
