The Importance of Faith in Christ

An identity founded on Jesus will show itself in mercy and in love. But an identity founded in anything else will not produce Christ like love. Your regard towards Jesus and others is the evidence of your identity into eternity. This passage does not teach salvation by works. If you go out there and do enough good things, Jesus will accept you in the end.
