The Importance of Tithing
When you, perhaps if you haven't been in the practice of tithing growing up or at a certain point, you abandoned it for fear of financial insolvency. But I don't think that talking about tithing as duty is the most helpful way to start. It's something like, like you said, that needs to be seen as a good, not just as a duty foisted upon us by a church that exists for the oppression of its members and underlings.
