"If you were a brain in a vat, you couldn't even sort of imagine a table or a glass ... Where does that idea even come from?" 'The only way you could possibly make that work is if you had a way to categorize, or some way to affix, symbols with perceived objects,' she adds. "'That's the only way I can think that you could make that work' Is that your argument? Because that's theonly way I'm not understanding your argument."
