Is Your Judgment Untrammeled?

If your children don't know how to act in a reciprocal manner, other children will not like them. And that's a catastrophe for your child. You want to use differentiated judgments, say, look, kid, you know, don't act like that because or do this instead. Or if you're really sophisticated, you can watch and see when your child does something good then you can point out that they did something good. That works really well in intimate relationships too. So, judgment, compassionate judgment, it's that intermingling of those two. It's very difficult because you have to be awake and alert and you have to know what you want and what you value.
