The Importance of Monads

For most people they're writing code that is at the domain business problem level and so they just want those higher level abstractions. The functional programming community went through this process of like discovering monads and realizing how amazing they are. I believe the folks behind the FP libraries in Kotlin are making the same types of tradeoffs. We are all trying to adapt in the language, even when we speak.
