The Importance of the Name of Christ
The title of Angel as a title of Christ eventually fell out of use in the early Church. Another Christological title which faded out of usage was the term Spirit. While some measure of distinction between the Father and Son was almost always present, the Spirit's place in the eternal Godhead was less clear. This did not necessarily mean writers sought no distinction between the Son and Spirit.
