Cleopatra - The Queen of Egypt
Cleopatra is the queen of Egypt, and she is a real power broker. We often think of her as just a sex symbol or perhaps from Hollywood. She was also the mistress to two of the most powerful men in Rome - Julius Caesar and then Mark Antony. By the time of the Battle of Actium, she was Antony's mistress. As monarch of Egypt, Cleopatra sat on a tremendous treasury which helped fund Antony's forces.
