It's not just about which side you land on but there's also like which prejudice prejudices do you already have so when there isn't a lot of data that is considered by everyone to be legitimate it allows people to sort of exercise their biases without being called on it in some ways right? "I see it like our view of reality should be dictated by the data not the other way around," he says. 'It tempers my hopes for what's going to come out of this"
