Hell appeals more strongly to what i call the universal grammar of story. Part of it already is problem focused. The other part of theuniversal grammar of story is its moralistic. And te distopia gives us all the problems we would ever want, and it almost always gives us a moralistic message too. So 19 84, for instance, george orwell's famous distopia is a moralistic warning againstno creeping totalitarianism. Yes, it is true about hell being compelling. I mean, what are the greatest works about hell? Greatest stories? Something like paradise lost, or dante's inferno. You know, two hov the ten most important works ever. What are
