The Tea Party and the Debt Crisis
I was offended on behalf of many people in the tea party. Many of whom I'd interviewed and thought they were just sort of normal Americans frustrated with the size and scope of government. It turns out I think I saw in part what I wanted to see. The debt and the deficit. But a lot of these people that were talking about these issues were some of the same people who were going to church involved in these evangelical or charismatic settings.
