Kevin Goldsmith did a talk on this at LeadDev. Gosh, probably 10 years ago now that's been one of the foundational understandings of my career since that point off the link in the show notes. And so when I'm thinking about what rewards mean, you have individual human beings comprising their individual layers of that chart. The organization is going to be set up to reward people from a compensation perspective differently for how they understand some of those things are going to be weighted more highly.
