The Mishandling of Genesis 1 Through 11
Steve, what are some ways that you have seen that Genesis 1 through 11 has been mishandled or misread? Peter: Well I mean pretty much everything. If we treat this Genesis 1 to 11 as just sort of fiction as ancient Near East literature that's not tied to history then our whole understanding of God humans is lost. The role of Israel even in the story must first be understood in light of Adam. Even though we can agree on many doctoral matters how the storyline works will affect church eschatology and Christian nationalism.
