The Anterior Singlet of Super Ages
When scientists do take a peek into the brains of super ages like June what do they see? Yeah so this is one of the first experiments we did. We said okay we have these 80 year olds and they have memory performance that's at least as good as 50 to 60 year olds. What are their brains look more like than chronologically matched peers or cognitively similar peers, he says. The anterior singlet is a region deep in the brain that's thought to be important for attention and attention supports memory.
