The US and NATO's Move to Counter China in the South China Sea
Lavrov said that Russia and China are stepping up their military cooperation in response to NATO. The US has gotten its European NATO allies to go along and send ships to the region, including over just the past year or early 2022. But still also as part of this treaty, the US is going to expand its military presence in Australia.
