The Real Risk of a Nuclear War
I think unfortunately, we need puten to have a path where he can claim victory, or else atomic weapons might come into play at some point. I don't know enough, and i'm not sure who does, to evaluate the, you know, how formidable the nuclear arsenals are in practice. But on the other hand, it's definitely true that the russian state has made it a strategic priority. They were even building new nuclear bunkers in the 19 nineties. It is actually something of a political paradox where, honestly, in the after meth of even fighting and winning a nuclear war, it's not exactly clear what a country would justify this politically.
