The Path to Truth
The Buddha said, don't mistake somebody's finger when they're pointing at the moon. So I'm not going to ask you to attempt to explain what that state is like because I think it's futile. But the best we can do with language is kind of hinting at it. Is there a metaphor or an analogy that best describes that state? There was someone, and I can't remember who, but he said that enlightened consciousness is exactly the same as ordinary consciousness except two inches off the ground. It's beautiful.
