Can You Run for President?

Eugene V. Debs ran for president in 1920 election while imprisoned in the Atlanta federal penitentiary. He famously received almost one million votes actually 3.4% slightly less than he had won in 1912 when he received 6% the highest number of votes for a socialist party presidential candidate in the United States. Can you become as a felon in prison? Can you become president and impart in yourself? I don't know how that would work. That's a state crime because the president can only pardon federal crime. But that's kind of epic. Like, yes, sir, I'm president now. I'm part in all prisoners in the whole country.
