Buffett wrote that they were up 200% It was one of the most successful investments he ever made or it was the most successful investment He ever made in 1973. Two years later Geico was bankrupt and struggling to survive. They just had their first underwriting loss in 28 years. So an incredible 30 year run of growth nonstop growth nonstop profitability I mean, that's that's pretty rare Underwriting loss of 5.9 million dollars in 1974 But they had investment income so they were still profitable on a net basis 17.5%.
