A lot of onspers are working on or protocol similar to s m t p. But they're protocols that let you build services in the same way. The internet right now has no common data base. There's no publicly owned data base, there's no place to store a pholograph. And so imagine a world where you could have similarly, a protocol that is similar, but for discord,. Like am tipepa for twitter, and then you had a variety of clients that implemented the same way yo do with e alic. I think that would be a significant step forward for the internet. That's one layer, and that's just, let's build some technology.

Chris Dixon leads crypto investing at the storied Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, or a16z. He’s responsible for leading funding rounds for Coinbase, which went public about a year ago, the NFT marketplace OpenSea, and Yuga Labs, which is behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club among others. He is also a prolific user of Twitter, where he posts lengthy threads about crypto and web3. He is at once one of the biggest investors in the space, and its biggest booster.
