The Unrepeatable Sacrificial Death of Christ

The author points not only to the unrepeatable sacrificial death that he experienced on Calvary, but also to his sacrificial self offering in heaven and on earth as it is in heaven. In other words, you cannot possibly repeat that which never ends, and Christ's sacrifice is everlasting. And so in the Mass, we're not repeatedly offering the sacrifice; we are representing it.
