The Bank Earnings of the Banks They Worried About in March
In March, we found out that this small handful of American banks had really failed in that capacity. They had not prepared for the fact that interest rates change and their assets and liabilities were poorly matched. What we found out in the subsequent months is that most American banks have not made those same mistakes or not made them to the same degree. So it's been really striking in the last just week or so to see the other banks that people were most worried about rallying.
