The introduction of this cousin's character, i think, gives us some more insight into maybe what was happening with nathan. But it also made me think, like the difficulties he has with communication, cause we don't know, like, how long he had been struggling with like, bi polar symptoms before he actually got the diagnosis. And so when you think about what those symptoms sometimes look like, and the internal experience of somebody who's having bi polar disorder symptoms, i would imagine communication could be difficult for him.
