The Importance of Attending Meetings Before Giving a Radical Candor Talk
I was approached by a friend who works at a nonprofit and he asked me if I would do a talk. Usually when we do radical candor talks, we charge for them. But sometimes if we're working with a nonprofit and we believe in the cause, we'll do a pro bono one. So anyway, I gave four or five hours. And then my friend who had invited me to do this, forwarded me an email that one of the participants in the session had written. The feedback itself was reasonable, but said it would have been much better rather than doing a separate session and say is this in the spirit of radical candor.
