Tribalism and Humanism in the Public Sphere

Tribalism is the curb stamp your neighbour hormon. We regress to tribal groups under stress, he says. And so when we enter like this conversation in the public sphere, we kind of almost assume its like, may the best mean win. But it's actually a symmetrical warfare, because any tribalist from any direction is all they have to do is just break this tendered idea that all people everywhere deserve equal respect.
