Are Low Wage Folks Really Saving Money?
Inflation adjusted amount of goods and services that consumers were buying in the united states was basically on the path it would have been if there hadn't been a pendemic. So low wage folks, by this measure, again, with all the caviots already noted, actually might still be getting real wage gains. If people are buying more real stuff, and ther their not having o eaten their savings to do it, then clearly somehow they have the income that's necessary to match whatever.
