What's the Difference Between the Simple Transfusion and the Exchange Transfusion?
So we're transfusing them, all things break loose and they get super sick. What's happening here? So this is a really strange situation where essentially it seems like there's almost this hemolytic transfusion reaction. And then like the spleen and the macropages just go crazy and start breaking down the patient's own arithrocites. Not only are they degrading the donor rithrocites, they start just hemolizing everything. This is problematic. i think t thing is just to be aware that this exists.
