CNN's John Berman sat down with the author to talk about his family. He says he and his wife told their kids what they did for a living, but that was when they were probably out ro ten and 12. They both kind of rolled their eyes and said, "Oh, we knew" And so you just try to find ways to disarm your child from not being upset about stuff like torture or drone use,. But ultimately, i think it's important for them to know i'm the acrifices that my wife and I made.
