Speaker 3
So we should wrap this up. This has been so amazing. We did throw every question possible at you. I think we
Speaker 2
covered more ground in 40 minutes than anything.
Speaker 3
We ran through our whole family health problems. Quickly, what books would you recommend our listeners to read if they're interested? You can feel free to say your own.
Speaker 1
Obviously. I did a lot of proteinaholic. It's got a lot of the research. And I think it looks a lot of, you know, from each disease process and the populations and it kind of tells the story. So it's somewhat interesting. Love Michael Gregor's Gregor's book, How Not to Die. Love, Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman. That's an old book, but a good book. Robins, John Loughs. I mean, that was one of the first big books, the New American Diet, I think it was called.
Speaker 2
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1
And then, you know, a book that really got to me from an ethical standpoint was Eating Animals. That really... Oh,
Speaker 3
that's what converted me. Yeah.
Speaker 1
So beautifully told.
Speaker 3
How could our listeners continue to follow your work?
Speaker 1
and your studies? I mean, I've got an Instagram and a Facebook page, Dr. Garth Davis on both of those. Be careful though because people seem to steal my pictures and create fake accounts. I
Speaker 2
saw that. Yeah, I saw that. You know you've made it when? Trying to commit fraudulent activities with your face. That sucks.
Speaker 1
Yeah. So if any of your people out there get an invitation to go on a date with me, it's not real. Oh,
Speaker 2
how disappointing. That's so sad. Yeah.
Speaker 3
That's
Speaker 2
amazing. Listen. So me $5 ,000. No, you're not going to be stuck in a jail in Africa somewhere. You'll be
Speaker 1
okay.
Speaker 3
Thank you, Dr. Davis. Thank you so much for being on and answering all our questions with me and so patient with us.
Speaker 1
No problem. Thanks, guys. Okay,
Speaker 2
so that's the end of the interview. Wow, that was a lot of science.
Speaker 3
I feel like we may have killed him with questions. He
Speaker 2
just ambushed him. I don't think he really knew what he was getting in for. Yeah, right, exactly. We were told we only had a certain amount of time because he's obviously a very busy man and we're pretty busy chick peeps too. So, we only had a certain amount of time. So yeah, my solution to that. But feel
Speaker 3
around experts. I'm like, give me all your knowledge at once. Like every time I go to see my psychic, I kind of start asking him all the questions about the world. Like -
Speaker 2
Your psychic. I thought you were talking about experts. No,
Speaker 3
but like he's an expert on what is about to happen in the future and what's coming in. I know you don't believe in that stuff. Sure he is. But I do and I get overwhelmed with all the knowledge on it. Anyway, and we're very grateful for all our listeners' feedback. It's so nice to hear. It's nice also because...
Speaker 2
Yeah, we reached out on this one to everyone to ask for questions and I think we have more questions for this one episode than we've had for all of the other episodes combined, including the Harry Potter episodes. Yeah. So, yeah, there was a really good response. So hopefully you guys enjoy it. We're sorry if we didn't get
Speaker 3
to answer your question this week, but as you will have heard, we fired through a lot of it and you know, it's a podcast. We're gonna have many more conversations and hopefully, more doctors on the podcast and we will.
Speaker 2
We are, we are like health, health has been one of those things that we haven't really covered yet, but we are gonna have a lot more to do with that. And hey, we covered some questions that we didn't even think we were gonna cover, like women's menstrual cycles. So that was cool. Yeah,
Speaker 3
slightly. All
Speaker 2
right, okay, so what in there came out that you weren't aware of, or that you thought was quite cool?
