Bertrand Russell was an important 20th century philosopher. His theory of descriptions is widely thought of as incredibly important in the philosophy of language. He came to realize that you don't make something exist or allow yourself to assume that something exists merely because you can think of it all, refer to it. In his last years he wrote and spoke on a variety of questions ranging from popular morals through to education.
