How to Promote the Beauty of the Gospel in 1 Timothy

The Bible should always be interpreted in ways that promote the beauty of the message. Paul will make accommodations to structural and social realities in order to promote the gospel. He's channeling Jesus into specific cultural forms where he's introducing gospel dynamics into social structures but doing it in a way that still honors the social structure for a time.
