You Don't Need School to Do What You Want to Do
You don't need school to do what you want to do. You can either be smart and look stupid or you can look smart and be stupid. While we have to write a book or present a series of lectures linearly, your brain doesn't work that way. There are going to be things that you grok immediately but won't understand for 10 years. Don't let that get in your way. Write down the fact that you didn't understand that and move on and pretend like you did understand it. But be aware that you don't.
