The Role of Religion in the Evolution of Human Instincts
I worry about the inability we have now to say maybe we're not great, maybe not a lot of our intuitions are great. I definitely agree that the idea of the blank slate is a terrible mistake. Our social responsibility to each other is to do all we can to figure out what is going on in those heads of ours and how we nurture our better selves.
