"I had a great time. I really did by the end of the episode," he said. "It felt like it had the action to keep some younger viewers engaged, but also some more serious story to keep us older viewers engaged." He added that thankfully they are not rehashing all the seven, 1977 sound effects and in story beats. It's one of the things that drives me crazy in the animated using plot points or sound effects that are taken right from the original movie.
