The russian energy giant, gas prom announced it had halted gas exports to poland and bulgaria over the country's refusal to pay for supplies in roubles. marguerite sees as perhaps the biggest stumbling block is whether countries are able to successfully explain to their voters why they either need to use less electricity or pay higher bills. If that issue of the cost to households is not managed in a smart manner, we have the possibility of a political back lash and an entire change in policy.
