i'm struck by how observant you've been over the years at little, tiny things that other musicians have done. It seems to all come back to this idea of being able to imitate people effectively. And i know on some it might sound like imitating others as a bad thing and that kind of is less creative but it ut yat's a thing that teacher say,. You don't want to sound like somebody else.
