Narcissism is the impetus to some very audacious goals that we set for ourselves. The more narcissistic a person is, the less likely it is that they'll recognize that behavior and act on it. Disordered narcissists surround themselves with yes men who tell them what they want to hear - people who put them on a pedestal. People who fall too high on the narcissism scale can be dangerous.
