Building Socialism for the 21st Century
I think there is a disconnect between the organized left and the working class that has grown since the 1970s. We're seeing a very dangerous sort of turn of politics towards these cultural questions as opposed to politics being built on the broadest basis possible. The main problem though is we're a college educated bunch disproportionately, right? And we need to take the left away from academia and bring it back to where it belongs.
