The Rise and Fall of Infosys
Narayana Murthy started Infosys in 1981. He poached six engineers to set up the company, moving its headquarters to Bengaluru. The government liberalised India's economy in 1991 freeing companies like Infosys from restrictions and regulations. Then on the 11th of March 1999, Infosys was listed on the NASDAQ, the American stock exchange - cementing its reputation as one of the world's leading tech companies.
